ZEP, Zero Epidemy Point is a prefabricated health module, a medical facility born as a concrete response to the Covid-19 emergency. It’s a meta-temporary antibacterial and eco-sustainable module that can be assembled and disassembled as necessary in support of the health structures, or placed as an urban neighbourhood health unit.
ZEP can act as triage in support of health facilities and can be transformed into control and prevention departments of severely affected areas. ZEP represents a new concept of widespread healthcare where it’s the care that goes towards the patient, not the opposite.
Sustainable Design 100% Made in Italy
The structure is made of 100% ecological materials, made of Trentino wood, insulated with Sicilian cork and Italian hemp. This combination of natural materials creates healthy and wholesome indoor environments and ensures optimal quality of the air.
Thanks to its particular flexibility, ZEP is able to support the existing health facilities, whether they are hospitals or elderly homes, adapting to the needs developed during the evolution of the infection, performing a plurality of functions ranging from HUB with a triage emergency to health centre clinic, or temporary hospitalization in emergency room.
ZEP.DOT is a small, compact and lightweight box which is easily transportable. It can be used outside, as a pick point for swab tests to provide health information on the urban and non-urban territory, and also in the indoor public spaces (shopping malls, airports, stations), with the aim of overseeing the areas at health level and being a point of listening and information for people.

Zeprojects srl in collaboration with Sheer Wood launched the construction of patented disassembled modules that can be assembled and dismantled as needed to support existing health facilities, or placed as urban neighbourhood health units.
The most exposed contact surfaces are designed with anti-bacterial and antiviral material thanks to the collaboration with GOLDélite company. GOLDélite develops furniture and design objects with antibacterial material, which is the only one obtained through a patented nanotechnological process.
The modules are completely built with eco-sustainable materials, the raw materials are wood, cork, hemp and natural hydraulic lime for the external surfaces of the modules with proven antibacterial properties.
The ground anchoring can be achieved with the patented Megaanchor technology that guarantees a faster assembly and disassembly with less environmental impact, because avoids the use of cement, so that the structure can be raised from the contact with the ground, thus avoiding penetration of radon.

ZEP is a modern architectural structure that allows decentralization of the risk areas and to protect healthcare workers and patients in healthy, safe and welcoming environments.
The medical aids can be placed anywhere, like the nodes of a network, and networked through dedicated software and apps to collect the requests for help from citizens. Inside them you can perform tests, samplings and have the first diagnoses without bringing infection into hospitals.
They can also be used as aids for family doctors, to visit patients without contaminating the clinics, and for providing specific assistance where it’s not possible to manage the patient from home.
